ARENAS CROWNED 2020 MOTO3 WORLD CHAMPION!

JUN 08, 20

It’s been seven years in the making, but in his final season aboard a Moto3 machine, HJC’s Albert Arenas has captured the 2020 Moto3 World Championship crown in what was a last-lap thriller in Sunday’s MotoGP finale.

Since his first win of the year at the season opener in Qatar, Arenas had his grasp on the Moto3 title, leading the world standing at all but one of the 15 scheduled rounds. Although his points lead had no room for even the smallest mistake heading into the deciding race in Portimão, the 23-year-old from Girona, Spain, stood up to the pressure to notch his first world championship before stepping up to the intermediate class in 2021.

Congratulations, Albert!
